So I’ve got a new gig…

So after taking some time to clear my head I’ve found a new gig. It matches me pretty well: technology, relationship sales, and my news addiction. Should be pretty cool and I am very much looking forward to starting. Very glad that I held out for the right fit. Here’s the skinny on the new gig.

Position Description
The ideal candidate must be comfortable in a rapidly changing environment, with heavy workload and deadline pressures. Required to be a creative thinker and team player. Specific Responsibilities . Qualify leads and covert them into sales of CNW product and services. Persistent professional pursuit for new sales opportunities. Proactive contact of all prospects assigned. Maintain strong customer relationship. Maintain and update records in CNW database. Produce required internal reports. Attain assigned sales quotas for all CNW products and services. Commitment to customer service – willingness to always go the extra mile and to maintain a consistent, friendly and professional manner.

Proven successful sales experience with a minimum of five years selling B2B. Hungry for the sale – demonstrates initiative and self-motivation. Strong capacity to identify client needs and to apply CNW products and services where appropriate. Ability to interact and understand Communications/Investor Relations practitioners. Time management and organizational skills – ability to multi-task and deal with crisis situations. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Demonstrated computer skills . Event Management would be an asset. Team player.
